FROM THE A5/A67
coming from Frankfurt / Mainz / Wiesbaden / Heidelberg / Mannheim

Drive into town on the Rheinstraße (B26). Cross the underpass at Luisenplatz and stay in the middle lane in the underpass (signposted: Aschaffenburg / Dieburg). At the third set of traffic lights after the underpass - immediately to the right of the congress center - turn right into Alexanderstraße. Continue straight ahead onto Dieburger Straße. After the railroad bridge (traffic lights), turn right into Wolfskehlstraße (signposted »Rosenhöhe«). The first road on the left - before the Löwentor - leads into Seitersweg. Parking is available there, as the Spanish Tower can only be reached on foot.

From the B26
Coming from Aschaffenburg / Dieburg

Turn right at the first street after the Ostbahnhof (Fiedlerweg / Spessartring). At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Dieburger Straße and then right again immediately after the bridge into Wolfskehlstraße (signposted »Rosenhöhe«). The first street on the left - before the Löwentor - is Seitersweg. Parking is available there, as the Spanish Tower can only be reached on foot.

Seitersweg / Von der-Marwitz-Weg

Drive all the way along Seitersweg, always following the buildings on the right without turning left. Parking is available along Seitersweg. Access to the Spanish Tower is on foot via Seiterswiesenweg. After the fork in the road, turn right into Von-der-Marwitz-Weg and follow it for around 200 meters to the top of the hill.

PARKING SPACES

There are no parking spaces available at the Spanish Tower. Parking is available along the Seitersweg in the designated parking spaces. The walk to the tower takes about 3 minutes.

DIRECTIONS BY BUS AND TRAIN


Train

From Darmstadt main station, take bus lines 671, 672, 673, 674, 693, GB, MO1, RH, X71, X74 or X78 to the Ostbahnhof or Hofgut Oberfeld stops.

From Ostbahnhof, the route leads through the gates of the gatehouse into Thießweg and then into Edschmidweg. Turn right at Ludwig-Engel-Weg. Follow the path along the Rosarium until you reach the Ludwig-Engel-Weg / Von-der-Marwitz-Weg junction. Turn left there, then immediately right again.


Bus

Take bus lines 671, 672, 673, 674, 693, GB, MO1, NHX, RH, X71, X74 or X78 to the Ostbahnhof stop. Cross the tracks and go through the gates of the gatehouse into Thießweg and on into Edschmidweg. Turn right at Ludwig-Engel-Weg. Walk along the Rosarium to the Ludwig-Engel-Weg / Von-der-Marwitz-Weg junction, turn left there and then immediately right again.

Alternatively, take the GB, MO1 or RH lines to the Hofgut Oberfeld stop. From there, turn into Römheldweg and walk straight ahead via Zuckmayerweg to Ludwig-Engel-Weg. Turn left at Ludwig-Engel-Weg and follow it to the junction with Von-der-Marwitz-Weg. Turn right there and then immediately right again.
